The Miller Family
The Millers have been active members of the Bend community for over a century.  Two generations, father Harry and son Bill, served as Mayor of Bend.  Bill was active in founding the Central Oregon Community College (COCC) and COCC Foundation, and his wife Connie helped found Bend Metro Parks and Recreation District.  Two generations of Millers have chaired the COCC Board of Directors, and three generations have presided over the Bend Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Bill Miller, who operated Central Oregon Pumice Company, purchased the Miller Tree Farm property in 1955.  Always a passionate and careful steward of the property, he was widely acknowledged for his stewardship, receiving recognition for his tree farming and reclamation work.  Bill passed these values on to his children, who have managed the property over the last decade.  They are proud of this thoughtful development that will be enjoyed by generations to come—a true legacy to Bill & Connie.

Brooks Resources Corporation
The Millers’ commitment to sharing this special place with others led them to conversations with Brooks Resources Corporation, another company with deep roots in Bend. As one of the oldest and most respected real estate development companies in Oregon, Brooks Resources has demonstrated its responsibility for the land through such cherished communities as Black Butte Ranch, Awbrey Butte, and North Rim, to name a few. Brooks Resources is partnering with Skyliners TWS LLC, the same partners in the award-winning NorthWest Crossing neighborhood, to help the Miller family create a community unlike any other.
